Trade Waste Agreements

Council's Trade Waste Policy, the "Concurrence Guidelines for Liquid Trade Waste Discharges to the Sewerage System" was developed by the Department of Land and Water Conservation in 2002.
At the pre-lodgement stage of a development application (DA), a developer should identify all the approvals that will be required and the supporting informtion needed for each application. If the developers proposal generates a liquid trade waste discharge, they will be required to submit an application seeking approval from Council.
