Entries are now being accepted for the Omni Instruments Art Exhibition held in conjunction with the 2010 CountryLink Parkes Elvis Festival. The exhibition, which has become a popular addition to the Festival program, will be officially opened on Wednesday 6th January 2010 and will be open every day of the Festival. Organisers are encouraging artists to enter work in the following categories - paintings, drawings, collage, mosaics, sculptures and leadlight and all work must based on Elvis Presley or an Elvis song or movie to tie in with the Festival. The exhibition will be held in the Coventry Room next to Parkes Library. Special thanks goes to Omni Instruments for their sponsorship of the Exhibition who are responsible for the great cash prizes on offer. 1st Prize judged will receive $1,250 and the People's Choice will be awarded with $750. Entry is free and all artworks will be for sale. Entries close on 21st December 2009. The entry form is available below, or contact Shellie Buckle at Parkes Library on (02) 6861 2039.
