Permits & Licenses

Street Stalls - Published: 09 Nov 2006
In October/November of each year Council calls for applications from interested organisations for Street Stalls for the following year. Organisations will only be allocated 1 date every year as there are so many applications. Stalls are to be held out the front of the former Target Country store. Council's policy also only allows for 1 stall per week to be held.

Use of Council's Parks and Gardens - Published: 09 Nov 2006
Parkes Shire Council has over 80ha of parks and reserves. The parks are popularly used for events such as weddings, reunions, christenings and parties. Bookings are encouraged for large functions for the use of the parks. more ..

Use of Footpaths - Published: 09 Nov 2006
The use of public footpaths requires the approval of Council. Activities that require this approval include:
  • Raffle
  • Busking
  • Charity appeal
  • Mobile ticket selling
  • Shop sale (tables out front)
