Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Mayor and Councillors Policy

This policy is made under the Local Government Act, 1993, including Sections 252 to 254 and 731 and having regard to the provisions of the Department of Local Government Circular to Councils number 06/57 dated 5 September 2006. The Act requires that the Council must adopt a policy concerning the payment of expenses and the provision of facilities to the Mayor and other Councillors.
