Tullamore Irish Festival

Last modified: June 10, 2008 - 2:46 PM

The Tullamore Irish Festival is held annually at Easter time and features strongly in the calendar of the locals and intrastate as well as interstate guests. The purpose of the festival is to promote Tullamore with it's unique characteristics, and offer to the wider Australian public, an exposure to the Irish culture. The festival is held within the town of Tullamore and commences with a street parade. Many floats and groups from the Tullamore community participate as well as vintage cars and bikes from surrounding areas.
